La Avenire

 

This collection is based on La Avenir, the future, from the inspiration of Jacques Tati’s film Play Time. Jacques Tati created a future Paris based in 1967, it is a humorous confusion created by the interaction of quick changing technologies. Lost in the maze of modern architecture filled with the latest gadgets. This concept has been translated through the construction of the shoes; presenting a functional, casual shoe that is structurally engaging and minimal.
